Eismanufaktur Hannover

I accidentally happened upon Eismanufaktor Hannover when I saw their sign that said they had gluten free ice creams. When I went in, I asked the owner about their gluten free options and if they were safe for coeliacs. He immediately knew what I was talking about as he also has coeliac disease. Not only do they have gluten free gelatos and gluten free ice cream cones, but also gluten free brioches, tarts, doughnuts, and more—all shipped in from Italy. It’s a great spot to stop for a gelato and/or a delicious coffee. Next door to the gelateria is their trattoria where they serve coeliac-safe pizza. This place is definitely a must—the gelato is delicious and Roberto is very friendly and helpful! It’s also in a great location by the Market Church.

Der Besitzer wusste sofort bescheid als ich nach glutenfrei gefragt habe. Er hat sich ohne darum gebeten werden zu müssen die Hände gewaschen und einen frischen Portionierer genommen. Er hat selbst Zöliakie und weiß, worauf es ankommt. Das war mein erstes Eis aus einer Eisdiele seit meiner Diagnose 2017 und ich könnte nicht glücklicher sein. Man fühlt sich absolut sicher bei ihm. Danke dafür!

Die Besitzerin wusste sofort Bescheid. Die Gluten freien Waffeln sind einzeln verpackt und der Platz wurde vor der Eisportionierung sehr gründlich gereinigt. Aus dem hinteren Bereich wurde ein separater Portionierer geholt, welcher nur für Glutenfreie Bestellungen vorgesehen ist.

Wir waren heute nochmals bei Eismanufaktur Hannover und was soll ich sagen, wir sind begeistert!!! Als wir ankamen und nach Glutenfreien Waffeln gefragt haben, hat die Frau sofort gefragt, ob Zöliakie vorliegt. Daraufhin hat sie als erstes ihre Hände gewaschen, bevor sie die Waffel ( welche auch einzeln Verpackt sind) angefasst hat und uns bediente. Meine Tochter (7 Jahre alt) sagte das das das leckerste Eis, welches sie je gegessen hatte 🥰. Der Chef der selbst Zöliakie hat und auch seine Frau kennen sich bestens mit Zöliakie und Kontamination aus. Das war auf jedenfall nicht unser letzter Besuch dort. Vielen Dank, dass ihr meine Tochter und mich ebenfalls heute Glücklich gemacht habt.
