No. Maybe they were knowledgable at one point. They must have new staff. The woman brought me a gf meal I requested and threw bread on it, after she specifically told me she understood my request. So no. I removed the bread, ate it, and took an Advil. 3 stars.

Delicious food and very personal service. They understood the gf issues and checked with the kitchen any time I felt we needed to double check gf status. They have a list of gf considerations on a handy place near the kitchen.

Staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful about accommodating a gluten free diet. I enjoyed ceviche for an appetizer and pecan crusted salmon for my entree. The chocolate and rum is great - highly recommend!!

Attentive staff, delicious meal. The place was super busy on a Wednesday night but I was dining alone so I was able to sit at the bar. I explained to the head bartender (manager?) my needs in Spanish and problems with cross contamination and he double-checked everything. I heard plenty of staff speaking English with customers as well. In the end I had a grilled salmon with side salad and mashed potatoes that were perfectly prepared and delicious. It’s not cheap by Cartagena standards (I think the entree and tip with 2 bottles of water came to about $19 and it was a small entree) but I felt very well-cared for. I will return!
