No, no, no, no. I showed up and asked about the nachos that they place on the table when you arrive if they are gluten free, and the waitress said yes. I asked if they were prepared in the same frier as other wheat containing items, and she said no. So trusting her, I began to eat a few. Later, I asked another guy if the salsa that came with it was gluten free, and he proceeded to tell me that I “shouldn’t eat anymore” nachos and that they were technically gluten free but not Celiac Friendly. The number that I ate were enough to make me sick, so I was very mad. I had completely lost my appetite to continue to eat the tacos that I had ordered. Not careful and clearly had no clue what they were talking about. Would not go there again and I don’t recommend to those with severe allergies.

The menu marks anything with gluten. Waitress was aware of concerns regarding cross contamination and knew that I couldn't eat the corn tortilla chips that share a fryer with gluten products. Haven't eaten yet, but so far so good!

Chips are made first thing in the morning so they aren't cross contaminated, but you have to avoid anything else fried. That said, the chips are great and there are plenty of gf options.

Gluten free menu? HA! This restaurant is riding the GF craze. Half the items marked as gluten free arrived at our table deep fried in the same oil as gluten items, and despite indicating that I was GF for medical reasons this happened multiple times throughout the meal. Extremely lucky I did not get sick. Just go to Masa14 next door instead and actually enjoy yourself.

I've noticed their menu's GF labeling is not consistent (my husbands menu disagreed with mine). The staff is confused about gluten, but at least aware and willing to accommodate. I was upset that the corn tortilla chips were not gluten free.

I got sick, but I'm guessing it was the El Centro Margarita that I reacted to. Don't drink the margaritas :(
