Great restaurant on the same road as La Fortuna waterfall. Menu is marked with GF items. I had the Butternut Squash soup, it was delicious! Guacamole made fresh next to the table was so good!

So many delicious gluten free options. They seem knowledgeable, and I did not get sick. There is not a separate gluten free menu, but the menu is clearly marked for gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian.

Lovely restaurant with excellent food. Good choice of gluten-free dishes that are clearly marked on the menu. Definitely try the guacamole prepared at your table! Delicious and fun!

Stopped here for lunch. Lots of gluten free items marked on the menu. My son had chicken and I had the salmon both were very good. The waiter seemed to understand our need for safety, but I can’t be sure with the language differences. Neither of us got sick.

By far my favorite restaurant of the trip so far. I will try and go again tomorrow before we head out!! Server was super knowledgeable, said that my dinner would be cooked in a separate kitchen! There were multiple GF options and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

So impressed with the food we went twice! Inca salmon was easily the best dish I've had so far, and the casados here were also tasty. Everyone else in my party enjoyed what they had as well - second time around, one of us had a delay in getting their food, but was most likely due to a large group also getting their food at the same time.

Servers seemed knowledgeable enough, not sure if the cc concerns were noted and carried over to the kitchen staff, but symptom free both times.

This restaurant is only about a mile outside of downtown La Fortuna and had sooo many amazing GF and DF options. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals and we definitely plan to return several times while we’re in town. If you’re GF, don’t miss enjoying a meal here! The ambience is beautiful and we loved watching the cows grazing across the street.

Actual name of the place is Chante Verde. This was a wonderful surprise. I was ready to struggle with communicating my gluten free needs and told to order casado again. However, they had gluten free options marked on the menu and seemed to understand gluten free. I had Pad Thai and it was not like what I get in the US but had lots of vegetables and was a wonderful change. I agree with the earlier reviewer, this place was a delight.

This place was a delight! Delicious food, understanding of gluten free and had options. We had a group of 12 with a variety of dietary needs, including Celiacs. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was stylish and inviting.
