TL:DR
I was here a week and didn't get gluten spiked ๐
Inconsistency which NEEDS a conversation with every meal.
Pros:
A lot of gluten free food.
"Most" of the staff are more educated in celiac and the need to avoid cross contamination than what I even see back home (UK).
I didn't get gluten spiked.
I ate a lot of yummy foods!
Cons:
Inconsistency throughout.
The resort app menu is different to the in restaurant menu in regards to labelling what is GF and what isn't.
On one occasion we had two menus at the table with different GF labelling for the same food.
On another occasion we had the menu labelled with gluten, gluten free, and then items with neither.
The food would often come out different to what was on the menu.
In one restaurant you could have a GF burger with chips done in a different fryer, the literal next day there was no GF buns and the fryer had been used for gluten.
You couldn't just order a meal from the menu without a conversation as sometimes the GF labelled meals were not GF that day.
