We went to El Farol tonight. Their menu clearly marks the items that are gluten free, or items that can be made gluten free upon request. The food was delicious, as it always is.
Lolita, the owner, came over and ran us through the gluten free options, and answered any questions we had. They keep corn tortillas separate from the flour as designated GF.
The rice is not designated gluten free, because one of the seasonings they use may contain traces due to manufacturing, but we’re not super sensitive so we took our chances.
If we get sick we will come update, but as of right now, solid 5 stars.
