Got glutened here. Extremely disappointing since the food is 10/10 good.
Asked employees and "confirmed" that everything except the burritos on the menu is gluten free. I don't think they actually payed any attention or understand the cross contamination that can occur on the grill or other prep areas. I was pretty worried when they said they'd change their gloves and not much else.
Really disappointed, because this has the potential to be an outstanding gluten-safe restaurant, if their employees were properly trained.
If you don't have Celiac or any other severe allergy to gluten, it should be fine. But otherwise, this place is quite risky, despite what the employees may tell you.
Very accommodating- the only thing they have with gluten on their menu is the flour tortillas (confirmed with the owner) and they prepare meat and tortilla on a different grill. I requested extra precaution and the corn tortilla for the street tacos was prepared so it did not come in contact with the flour tortilla. They also changed gloves for preparation of our order.
