Review of El Inca Plebeyo Restaurant

162 Essex Rd, London N1 8LY, UK

Overall Rating

Review

I want to deeply suggest you “El Inca Plebeyo” Ecuadorian restaurant in Essex Road, Angel.

Forget the standard and plain flavours of the big chains, and taste a corner of the world. Almost everything is gluten free on the menu.

I rarely found this impressive balance between all the ingredients; thanks to chef Jorge every dish is a whole experience.

I had the Ecuadorian ceviche with sea bass as starter, the hornado as main (is a staple in Ecuadorian cuisine) and eventually I tasted the chocolate fondant and the quinoa pudding.

They are informed on cross-contamination. In fact my dish came with steamed broccoli to avoid the patacones contaminated in the fryer.

And the waitress is a sweetheart ♥

I hope you’ll find the time to try it. For me, was one of the best restaurant in London and in the world.
