El Jibarito Restaurant

I had a great experience here! A jibarito is a Puerto Rican sándwich that is served on plantain instead of bread which is great for celiac. I’m not sure if their food truck has it too but at the restaurant they have a separate fryer you can ask for. My food took longer because they were setting it up, but it was so worth it. I had the bistec jibarito and the white rice and beans were delicious. I also shared fried cheesy yuca bites and the mofongo with carne frita. I am a very sensitive celiac and I felt great after eating here. It’s also very authentic and tastes like home
