Our waitress was great and able to help me navigate what was safe on the menu, which was still quite a bit. I know that the idea of gluten free in Puerto Rico is not common and you sometimes get staff who aren't sure so it was nice to have someone familiar with what was safe. I have a pretty severe intolerance where even things fried together makes me sick and I had the Pescado Frito and tostones with no issues. There was a little confusion on if the flan was gluten free or not, but finally determined it was safe and we ordered one of each to go and it was phenomenal! Just ask questions and if you aren't sure play it safe and don't get order that thing.
