Review of El Mercat

We specifically went to this restaurant because of the reviews, but we had a totally different experience than the previous reviewers.

When we showed the waiter our Spanish celiac card, we were very rudely told that all their food contained gluten and it was nothing for us to eat there. Our son left in tears.

Change of ownership? Change of staff? No matter what it’s no reason to be that rude!
