The guy at the counter was either clueless or trying to embarrass me when I asked about gluten. He said "I don't even know what gluten is" fairly loudly then said "it's bread right?" Fair I suppose, but it was the tone, which is difficult to describe here. He did end up trying to help me find something, but I think he just assumed it was a fad diet for me (even though I said celiac or allergy so he took seriously) and was a little condescending. I didn't feel safe eating and ended up with a small crab and shrimp bowl but was afraid to try the sauce after the interaction. There is probably plenty to eat if you stick to plain seafood, but I didn't feel comfortable and just should have left. Seems like a cool spot for regular folks

Before ordering, I told the staff I required gluten free. He quickly informed on the menu what I would be able to have. The fresh seafood was great. I had the shrimp tacos and a local seltzer.
I would have rated 5 stars if they had marked items on the menu, to make it more user friendly. Food was definitely 5 star worth.

First time here and I thought their seafood was AMAZING! The plates come with vegetables and rice which were okay but the fish was excellent. According to the staff the teriyaki sauce has soy and they said it was not gluten free. I would definitely recommend this place as a casual sit down diner.

Excellent, fresh seafood. Easily accommodates celiacs!
Lots of grilled fish, sashimi, tuna poke, cioppino, rice, salad. Not sure about cross contamination, but didn't make me sick! Im gluten intolerant.
