Best GF Fish/Shrimp & Chips!! I talked to the owner when we arrived. He told me that all of their batter was made with rice flour. He gave me a sample of their clam chowder, which was also gluten-free, And delicious! My hubby and I shared the fish/chips & shrimp/chips!! it was by far the best gluten-free fish and chips I’ve ever had. They also have a dedicated fryer! I am very symptomatic and I had no problems!!

We were so excited to try this place today, and my daughter got really excited when she saw “gf batter available). However; when we approached the owner, he seemed busy and irritated. He mumbled over the counter (I could barely hear him) “yes yes…it’s all gf”….in response to cc…when i asked specific questions about what items had gluten, he mumbled some more and continued cooking on the line. I barely heard him and quite honestly didn’t feel comfortable asking him to repeat himself, so we just left. It’s a shame bec I sooo wanted to feel safe eating there based on the previous reviews. It could be the owner was just having an “off day” but I can’t take that chance as my daughter gets very ill, and quite frankly, didn’t feel like giving him our business given his lack of customer service.

Great gluten free fish and chips. They also had Shrimp N Chips too that I hope to try. Quality fish and not greasy at all. Everything is fried in rice flour. No issues after.

Feels like the holy grail of fried fish. Only gluten in the restaurant is tortillas for the tacos and they don’t use corn for the batter (for those of us who also can’t eat that.) Everything was seasoned well and delicious. Can’t wait to go back.

Fantastic fish and chips (French fried) plus delicious GF clam chowder! Can’t rave enough about how good the food was and how friendly and knowledgeable the staff are. Wish this place was in my home town!

GF fryer and chips (French fries) cooked to perfection. Not everything on the menu is GF eg the wrapped saltine biscuits for the soups. The staff were very happy to advise nearly everything is GF!

Great place. Owner explain the whole menu is gluten free. Had the fish chips. They were wonderful. Fryer are gluten free. Even his clam chowder. He uses only rice flour. Only gluten is flour tortilla wrap.

Fantastic naturally GF fish and chips. Fries in dedicated fryer. Nice owner usually on site. Fresh tasting and rivals what we had in Great Britain.

The batter they use is FULLY GLUTEN FREE! They use a rice flour with a mixture of spices and the only other thing they fry in the fryer are the fries! Great find! Super happy to hear as someone with celiac! Couldn’t tell you the last time I had fish and chips!

We stop here every time we’re in Pismo. The owner told me that everything is gluten free, but he doesn’t advertise it that was because it can turn people off. We personally think it’s the best fish and chips in town. My wife does eat gluten, so she’s tried a lot of place over here
