My wife and I went for dinner last night. We ended up at the wrong place….dah! Arrived 30 minutes late and didn’t have much time as we had to be somewhere. They fit us in, helped us with the order and the whole experience turned out to be wonderful. The ambiance, the waiter and the food was exceptional. Planning our next dinner there as we were rushed(my fault) and really want to experience the great vibe and great food properly.

Very good food in a small but cozy atmosphere. Everything on the menu except for the beer was gluten free (why is it so hard to get a gluten free beer in this city?!) That said, cocktails were very good and the churros for dessert were yummy. Definitely on the pricey side.

I've been here several times and this place is fantastic. Food is great and worth the price. Definitely special occasion prices but so delicious. The ceviche is a standout, as are the churros.

Entire menu is gluten free. Food was delicious and service was quick. So nice to have ease at a restaurant and not have to worry about asking questions! We got the corn on the cob, nachos with chicken, and fish, steak, and beef tacos… yum!

This place is AMAZING! It was wonderful to go out for dinner and not have to worry about GF options or cc - the ENTIRE menu is GF and the food is amazing. We loved the chicken and the fish tacos and the churros for dessert are a must! Even my non celiac husband was super impressed. We will definitely be back!

Dedicated GF and fabulous! The staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was great and the food was the best I gave had in a long time. Had a Watermelon Mexican martini which was spicy and tasty. My friend had the Carne Asada and I had the Fish Tacos. So yummy. Dessert was the deluxe churros with chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, ice cream and whipped cream with fresh berries. It was delicious. I took an order of the regular churros to eat on the plane the next day. Next time I get back to Toronto I will be back.

This place was so amazing! We stumbled upon it while walking around the Annex and didn’t even realize that all food menu items were gluten free! We had 4 kinds of tacos, with the homemade chips and guacamole and topped it all off with the best gluten-free churros ever. Such a rare find. Will be back for sure soon :)

Highly recommended not just because it’s a 100% gluten-free restaurant also they serve the most authentic & delicious tacos I’ve tried so far in Canada! The gluten-free churros is a must order too!! Definitely will come back!

Great gluten free dining experience here! Everything is 100% GF. We went for brunch and had the home made (corn) tortillas with salsa and guacamole and GF churros for dessert. They were DELICIOUS - it was such a treat. I was with a non celiac and they loved their meal. Couldn’t even tell it was gluten free. Definitely will be back and highly recommend if you’re looking for a safe dining experience.

Gluten. Free. Churros. Need I say more? This place is a gem, and I’ve brought so many gluten eating friends here who now go back without me. The restaurant is free of gluten and is one of the best Mexican restaurants in the city, hands down.

Best GF meal out in a while. Entirely GF menu! Staff and service was great. We were walk ins on a Saturday and could be seated in 20min. Got carne asada, pollo and BATTERED fish tacos - all delish!! And the churro were perfect. Will be ordering those for takeout regularly now

Really delicious and small menu. The vegetarian black bean tacos are the best my wife has had (including mine apparently 🤨) and the fish tacos were done to perfection. The sauces that dress the tacos, fries, and corn is really some else! When you ask about gluten-free items the reply is "everything is gluten-free".

Note: We arrived at 5:45 on a Friday and soon after we arrived all the other tables were taken by walk-ups. You cannot make a reservation for 2 people so be ready for a wait list or arrive early. But I promise, it's worth the wait!

Delicious fish and carne asada tacos. Warm tortilla chips and guacamole and salsa. This place is dedicated gf and they easily accommodated dairy free too. All food tasted amazing. Highly recommend! Will definitely be going back here.

Best. Food. Ever. Completely safe for celiacs (no gluten anywhere except in beer). Very cute place, friendly and knowledgeable staff and absolutely delicious! Very reasonably priced too! I’m definitely going back first chance I get to try some of the additional dishes.

What a rare experience being able to order off the menu and not make a fuss. Everything is gluten free. They even have a disclaimer on the menu letting you know that they do have gluten on the premises, but that’s only for beer.

Food was also fantastic and the pricing was very reasonable. Get the Pocho fries!!

LOVE El Pocho. It is my go-to for quick delicious dinners, prices are pretty good, and the food is great. It's tiny and cute, the outdoor seating is nice in the summer, the cocktails are fun, and definitely safe space for the churros!! Everything is 100% gf, except the beer :)

This place is a celiac's dream come true!!! EVERYTHING on their food menu is gluten free, even the churros! We started with the fries served with chicken in adobo (special of the day) and the fries were super crispy and delicious and the spice level was perfect. Also had the deep fried avocado taco and other tacos too, everything was delicious. I would of eaten more tacos, but I definitely needed to keep space for some churros. Out of habit, I double confirmed that they were gluten free, and I was told they were, and they were so worth it!!! Even my hubby who is not celiac, loved them! We will definitely go back!
