Picked up takeout today, first time to eat here since celiac diagnosis. Hard to find their GF info online but finally found a link after I clicked on a menu item. Warns there’s no dedicated kitchen or cross contamination protection but much of their menu is listed as GF. Chicken and most sides are on the GF list as is the milky drink horchata! Shredded chicken crunchy taco and their original pollo bowl are not made with gluten, according to website, but they make no guarantees about cross-contamination.
We have eaten here and at the Hurst location many times and I can eat almost everything on the menu! Chicken is marinated and grilled and yummy (I don’t like it as much if we reheat frozen leftovers though, perhaps it’s something about the marinade). Pinto beans, cole slaw, salad, corn tortillas are all good. Love the Mexican milk-rice-cinnamon horchata drink (with ice). Adain gave us good service there today. See menu photo at my Hurst review.
Several meats and rice that are gluten free.
My husband and I love eating here when we visit family. The prices are great for the wallet. We get the original pollo bowls with corn tortillas or chips and it is enough to fill us for two meals. Yum!
Only been there once. They didn't know about gf. But they did ask. Kind of scared he so I went simple. It was good. Need to go back again. Just scared me at first with lack of knowledge.
