Best gluten free bakery EVER and I've tried a number throughout the U.S. Sad to hear news that it's closing but will look online for the products.

True 100% gluten-free bakery. Desserts, sandwiches, even pizza! The entire family has celiac disease so they know what they're doing. Their flour blends are amazing as well and probably used all over. I hope they never close!

I love this place. They had an amazing brisket sandwich (my husband didn't really care for the turkey sandwich) and we also had an amazing brownie. I love that this is such a safe place to eat and I don't have to worry about it.

Everything is gf. The cupcakes are amazing. Stay away from the lemon bars. They crumble and don't taste very good.

Incredible products and experience. This place rocks! We had lunch, brisket for me and chicken salad for my bride, both on the arepa. It was better than home cooking, the place as clean and very welcoming. This is what can be used as doing things the right way!

Best cinnamon rolls I've ever had and it was GF! We tried the semi-frozen rolls that you raise and cook at home. They were so easy and delicious. It's nice to smell bread baking in my house again.

I'm not from Utah - but love to stop here when in town. They do an AMAZING job and I've never been concerned about being "glutened" here. Keep up the great work!

Someone told me this place had Gluten Free options and I went in not knowing the whole place was GF. I asked what items were GF and the cashier was very rude and annoyed by my asking(Sorry, I really didn't know). The turkey sandwich and Cinnamon roll were so delicious, but a little pricy for the portions. I will definitely be back to try it again!

Thank god I don't live too close to this place or I would eat there ALL the time!!!

The chicken arepas is the best thing to eat and their soups are fantastic too. Then wrap it all up with one of their brownies or cupcakes and you are set!

Eleanor's has by far the best food, service and flavor in the valley! I have brought many friends to eat here who are not GF and they love it. The service is amazing, they are always willing to answer my questions and help me out in any way. I try to come about once a week for lunch to have an arepa and soup. I have not tried a single soup that I dislike. My favorite soup by far is the chicken coconut curry - YUM!

As the daughter of a world-renowned customer service expert and consultant, service is something I prize highly. It's especially important in small businesses. The food at Eleanor's is delicious, but the service is inconsistent. I come back because, no doubt, they have some of the best gluten free baked goods around....but I do so somewhat grudgingly, because they take their customers for granted. Many of the cashiers seem annoyed when they have to interact with customers, and are often inattentive. Everyone has bad days, but I've been here dozens of times, at least once a month for over a year, and sadly not much seems to have changed.

That said, one of the most important facets of customer service is how a business apologizes to its customers. Today I brought in a coupon from the Gluten Free Expo that I didn't realize was several days expired. The cashier did not honor it, which is ok, but something a disappointment. While we were eating, a very kind lady named Sue stopped by to apologize and offered me a free dessert (which the coupon was for with purchase of a loaf of bread.) It was a very unexpected and welcome gesture. I would love to see more of that kind of awesome service in the future! Hopefully Eleanor's can turn over a new leaf and my next review would definitely reflect that improvement. :) I have a lot of hope after today.

The hours are a bit weird, but I think it's due to location. Honey oat bread is awesome. I've never made it home without eating several pieces while in the car. Love that they are knowledgeable about other restrictions as well.

Eleanor's is 100% gluten-free, and has been for MANY years since practically their whole family has gluten issues. It is really far away from me and tucked in a back industrial area, so it's hard to find. The staff are really nice and knowledgeable, and most of their food is delicious. I thought with all their breads, their sandwiches would come on bread. Nope. It came on some sort of pita bread, which was not exactly tasty. Their cookies were to die for. Their cake pops were to die for. Their bread is amazing. Their cupcakes are so delicious. Their cakes are disgusting. I bought a birthday cake for myself for my first birthday that my husband was gluten-free, thinking it would taste like the cake pops. Oh no. It was so dry, grainy, bland, and disgusting, we threw it away. And it was so expensive. A tiny cake was over $30. I get it, gf is expensive. But to be so small and nasty, that really upset me. Their bread is amazing, but their cakes ruined it for me.

The cake pops were TO DIE FOR! SO GOOD! I really liked the muffins and the cupcakes that we purchased from here.

What's weird is the arepas that they use instead of gluten-free bread for the sandwiches. Although it's tasty and a new way to experience gluten-free lunches - they are very messy, and I'd rather have it wrapped in lettuce or on bread. I think this is a great gem in SLC, but you'll have to travel all the way down to Sandy to find it - wish it was closer to downtown!

Love the honey bread and chicken salad sandwich. A ways to drive, but fun to go somewhere with a total gluten free menu with many options. Didnt love fruit tart or muffin I tried, but i'm not a fan of anyones.... The frostings on cupcakes very good.
