I am staying in the Club Quarters hotel next door and dropped in for a quick bit to eat. They have a detailed gluten free menu, including if items are in the shared fryer and what items need to be removed from each dish. I got the Bacon & Bleu Burger with a GF bun and side salad. It was DELICIOUS. They also have a Bailey’s cheesecake with a GF crust. Highly recommend!
I actually had a really great experience here! I got a delicious salmon burger on a GF bun with a side of veggies that were actually pretty good. I am used to not being able to get fries on the side, so that didn't bother me. My server was actually GF herself, so she was very helpful. You can choose from the salads, a chicken dish (modified to be GF), and most of the burgers. I'd love to go here again.
The staff seemed so annoyed that I was asking for gluten free. Our waitress, was very put out & even told me the only thing was a burger or salad. I inquired on a few other options, which she just kept saying yes it was gf, after she told me, only the kitchen would know... Did not have a good feeling about our meal.
Only thing really gf is that they have an option for a gluten free bun. Most everything else on the menu has gluten or runs a high risk of cross contamination. If you just have a sensitivity you might be fine eating here, but if you have celiac I would avoid it. Everything is fried in one fryer so your only side options are veggies. The veggies were good, but that was your only choice. Waitress tried to be helpful, but the restaurant as a whole did not seem very knowledgable. We had a good experience, but it was very hard finding something safe to eat. There were only about 5 things that did not contain gluten and three of those were veggies.
Separate GF menu that marks any items that share a fryer. Made it very easy to order. My chicken sandwich and salad were delicious and came out marked as a gf meal. Since another server delivered, our server quickly came over to verify I got the correct meal. I also really enjoyed the gf cheesecake for dessert.
The staff was super friendly, really helpful. From the very beginning they told us that the fried options have cross contamination, so I didn't try those (celiac). I tried the chicken burger with a gluten free bun and it was DELICIOUS, but I got it with a side of slaw since the fries are not gluten free.
Had a wonderful experience! You have to ask for a gluten free menu but they are happy to provide one. My server was excellent and very cautious about my dad's intolerance. They have gluten free Ciders and a gluten reduced beer (not celiac friendly but didn't bother my dad's intolerance). Gluten Free Buns available for the burgers which made my dad so happy. The hummus (order with no naan) was fantastic as an appetizer and larger than expected. They have many options with appetizers, salads, dinners, sandwiches and even dessert! The gluten free cheesecake was delicious. My server brought out my dad's plate separately from everyone else's. While they don't have a dedicated gluten free frier they do only fry gluten free items in one, just can't promise no cross contamination from other fryers dripping into that fryer. One caution is my server explained she had a food safety certificate but they are not required for the servers so not all servers might be this knowledgeable. If you go ask for Dani I guess! Not recommended for Celiac though!!!!! No separate kitchen and items are prepared in the same area.
Fun place. Busy, so it took a while to get food. Not great for accessibility. Had butter chicken (no naan; helped in flavor with some tamarind), grilled salmon w mashed potatoes, and the dips and crisps. The crisps were delicious but I didn’t ask about fryer. No tummy aches!
