The counter guy told me with a literal shrug they take no special precautions for celiac, such as using a gf pan or prep area. He said “it’s a pizza place.” I’m not really sure why they offer gf if they don’t care about doing it right. Even though pizza is hard to keep free of cc, most pizza joints at least to try to take some precautions for people with celiac. Rough because there aren’t many Gf options in winter park!!
No
Cross contamination, eat here at your own risk
Celiac beware. We went here after reading GF reviews, and after we ordered, I watched the guy preparing the GF crust slide it right off the tray onto the non-GF floured counter. It was immediately contaminated. When I asked what he was doing, he acted like he had no idea why I was concerned, and said that's what they always do, and that they do not even have a GF tray to place the pizza on. We were very disappointed and had to leave because my son has Celiac. Not sure why someone who is actually Celiac would say this place is Celiac friendly.
No
Pizza was good. They had a standard GF crust, but tasty enough. They do fling dough in the air here but it was in a separate area of the restaurant than the rest of the prep. Questionable for a celiac but I didn’t get sick.
Yes
Pizza crust is standard. Toppings were great.
