Absolutely delicious. Only critique I would give is that the son should take care of the ordering. They are great about the gluten free. But dad did do the ordering so they brought us not gluten free injera. We double checked like we always do and the son immediately made the change. This was our first time with Ethiopian food so we asked what they suggested we order. We got it and it was delicious. Definitely will be coming back.
This place is so yummy and the owner is aware of GF! Not much can be DF, though…most is cooked in butter.
Most of the dishes are gluten free, and the gluten free injera is amazing. They are wonderful people, and really do a great job. I have been eating here for over 8 years, never gotten a reaction from their food. It's delicious, too!

Incredible gluten free injera… best we’ve had. We have been to other Ethiopian restaurants where we have to call ahead 3 or more days to get gluten free injera… but not here. And all the dishes tasted great. I wish we lived in the area, but we were only visiting.
My friend liked the gluten free injera better than the regular. Loved the yellow pea and green lentil side dishes. We had not eaten ethiopean and couldn't decide what to order but the staff was extremely patient with us.
Lovely food, lovely people! Have eaten there twice and no gluten reaction problems. Their gluten-free injera is 100% teff flour. The food can be as mild as you wish, and you won'the leave hungry. Do try them. Haile and Elsa would love to see you!
Gluten Free injera is so good. Great Flavors and range of Flavors. One of my favorites in Kansas City!!!
Owner is really knowledgable and food is delicious! I have celiac and multiple food allergies and have never had a reaction here. Gluten free bread too!
