I found this restaurant while searching this app looking for somewhere I could eat lunch in the area. Based on all the great reviews, I was expecting to have a bunch of great gluten free options for lunch. That was not the case at all. This is a vegan restaurant first and foremost. The employee behind the counter told me that gluten free food isn’t really their speciality. I couldn’t eat any of the prepared foods in the case (some kind of potato salad, Waldorf salad with barley, etc) or any of the sandwiches. The only item they told me I could get was a salad with edamame, corn, fresh fruit, pistachios, and dried cranberries. It came with a dressing that they told me was gluten free, but I didn’t eat because I think it may have contained malt vinegar.
BE VERY VERY CAREFUL IF YOU ORDER A DRINK THAT HAS A HOLE FOR A STRAW. I ordered a ginger tea, and the person behind the counter immediately put a pasta straw in the cup—right after I told them I was gluten free. Very glad I was paying attention.
All in all, I think you’d be best to skip this place.
Awesome spring rolls!
Gluten free items daily. One day [wed] they have special GF items.
Thus is a wonderful option for breakfast and lunch. They are open 8 am to 4 pm. Keep in mind that Wednesday is their gluten-free day so all food offered is gluten free. Other days of week I can find something but not as many options. I did have a fried green tomato lunch box with greens and a corn salsa mix and a cashew dressing. It is a vegan place and all very good.
