Disappointing Experience: Celiac-Safe Birthday Cake Fail I was truly excited to find a bakery that offered celiac-safe options, especially oatmeal cream pies. Unfortunately, my experience was far from positive. When my husband ordered a special birthday cake, we were informed the day before that there had been a mix-up and it wouldn't be ready. The lack of any apology or alternative solutions was incredibly disappointing. To make matters worse, when we finally received the cake, scones, and cinnamon rolls, they were incredibly dry and tasted as if they were several days old. As a business owner myself, I understand that mistakes happen, but the way this situation was handled was unacceptable. I had hoped to find a reliable bakery for celiac-safe treats, but based on this experience, I cannot recommend Emily Kate's

By far the best gf baked goods in Kansas City. They have tons of variety, and can make most anything you request (even if it’s not on the menu). Most non-gf people don’t realize that it’s gluten free when they eat it! So so so delicious.

I have not “dined in” (not sure if they are open for in house food service yet) but I’ve picked up their cinnamon rolls and carrot cake at local groceries in the freezer aisle, leave to thaw in the fridge, and WOW so tasty.

This is a completely gluten free bakery. And bonus!…everything we bought was AMAZING! Couldn’t even tell it was GF. We bought a poptarts of every flavor, T&B cinnamon rolls and scones and because we had to wait for a few minutes on our order, they gave us a blueberry bar that was sooo good!

I love to get Emily Kate's baked goods from Pour Coffeehouse in Olathe. Everything's great, but the cinnamon rolls are probably my favorite. LEGIT cinnamon rolls, from a dedicated GF bakery. So good!
