The food is to die for. This place just became my new favorite restaurant in Tijuana. The prices are actually decent when compared to other restaurants of this caliber. The waiter (Enrique) went back and forth to the kitchen to communicate my allergy and I was still able to do the prixfixe 4 course menu. The person I was with still had to do the same menu, but they were kind enough to let him keep his chocolate volcano while I only had ice cream. I ate the Jurel, Risotto de hongos, and the coulotte. Everything was to die for, the only thing that was a bummer was they didn’t have any gf desserts so I had a passion fruit ice cream (it was great… but not a Vulcan de chocolate).
I didn’t have a reaction. It seems they’re very set on providing great service - the manager stopped by our table to ask how they were doing. This gives me much more hope that the experience of other gluten free diners would be good.
