I get gluten free pizza at engine 6 minimum once per week. It’s the only place around here I fully trust. The owner has family with Celiac Disease.
When they need to prepare the gluten free dough they clean the entire kitchen and focus exclusively on that with dedicated utensils. Even something as simple as always putting my gluten free pizza box on top of the non-gluten free pizza boxes so no crumbs fall in when my family picks up.
I order through the slice app and all their gluten free options are listed there! I’ve eaten here for years and have never once gotten sick.

Well after ready many reviews I. Regards to their pizza and having tried every other location in town that has gluten free pizza. I decided to give it a shot and to my surprise the pizza was delicious hands down best anywhere in the area and be use they make there own dough they able to do sizes as well as bread sticks and calzones . I did try the gluten free tenders. Those have to be perfected a little more maybe with a different breadcrumb choice .

Had a great lunch here recently while visiting Mohegan Sun. Got to talk to the owner. My celiac daughter loved the pizza, and she usually doesn't like gf pizza. They make the dough there. There were a number of other gf options like chicken fingers and boneless wings. Enjoyed the gf desserts as well. Service was terrific. Would recommend eating here if you are in the area. Dine in area was small.
Update: Had another great meal here recently. Waitress was awesome, gluten free bread sticks and pizza were amazing.

Best GF Pizza in CT!! The owner’s family member has celiac. They make fresh, homemade pizza dough and follow many cross contact procedures. They offer GF calzones, pizzas, pasta, chicken fingers/fries, breadsticks, and many desserts too!

The crust was so good I had to ask what brand they use, the owner says they make it themselves daily in all separate equipment. SO good! And since it's homemade they can do multiple sizes and calzones, bread sticks, etc. We will definitely be back.

We had the baked potato pizza, it was great! The owner was fantastic and knew the correct way to handle prep for Celiac. Really nice crust! Great dessert options too!

Update: ate here again recently. Still delicious still did not get sick. Tried a different calzone this time. Love the options.
First time I had a calzone since being diagnosed with celiac. It was delicious! Would definitely eat here again. Their website lists all the precautions they take to prevent cross contamination.

Good gluten-free pizzas is hard to come by as it is. Took a little road trip to Connecticut and found this little gem. Definitely wouldn’t compare it to like a thin like fresh Italian pizza but in all honesty, even though it wasn’t, it was fantastic. I hate to say it, but it almost tasted like a fancy version of Domino’s and that’s a good thing at least to me.😂 definitely would kill the comeback here again. Might even just come back for the pizza. Not only that I don’t know if they were the owners, but the guy girl that we were working there were fantastic. Also, by the way parking in the back.
Great pizza and excellent service. I was staying at Mohegan Sun (just 2 miles away) and after I read the reviews I knew I had to try this place. My thanks to all the reviewers. When I make my next trip to the area I’ll be sure to bring a cooler so I can bring extra pizza, calzones and pasta home with me.

Just had a wonderful gluten free pizza. They take extra steps to make sure your pizza is safe. Had a bacon, pepper, onion and cheese pizza. My husband, who does not have to be gluten free, shared with me. We were both happy.

I ordered a GF pizza, and my husband had a regular. When he tasted mine he said it was every bit as good as his. Friendly staff! Small eat- in area (3 tables). Will absolutely be back, and am spreading the word what a find this place is!

Driving across CT and needed a quick place to stop for lunch. This place was amazing! Such sweet, knowledgable staff! The breadsticks, the pizza and the wings were all so good! The calzone was amazing! Left there wishing that we lived closer!

We stopped here on way to the New London Ferry from Maine. What a diamond in the rough for GF people. Not a lot of seating and very take out oriented but good food with tons of GF options. They make their dough in a dedicated mixer and separate pans for cooking.

Had high hopes. Unfortunately I’m sick after eating here. Got the pizza. Mediocre at best. The flavor of the toppings were good but the crust was just your typical teeny tiny cardboard circle. Thin. No flavor. Got the bone in gf Buffalo wings (spoke to the person there who was very nice to assure me that they could be made gf). They were delish. My boyfriend got a steak and cheese sub with pickles. The bread looked great, he said super soft and perfect sun bread. But the sun was hardly filled. Like half of each of the sides of the bun didn’t have anything in it. And the provolone cheese wasn’t even melted. And the pickles were like soft, not fresh/crunchy. Won’t go back. Left pics below of our food. (Didn’t take a pic of the sub though)

Holy smokes this place is amazing. Pizza was absolutely stellar and the gluten-free desserts are divine! They outline their allergen protocols and mention celiac specifically on their website. Staff is very friendly and more than happy to answer questions. I wish they were closer to me, but I'm absolutely going back the next time I'm in the area!

I absolutely love this place. Their gf pizza is one of the best I've had, and the calzones.. omg I hadn't had a calzone in over eight years and it was heavenly. They really get it and take all proper precautions to keep us safe. I've eaten here many times and as a sensitive Celiac I've never had an issue!

Excellent pizza and calzones. Dough is scratch made and is thick and chewy, not like a cracker. Ate here out of desperation from traveling all day with no food, with few options aside from the casino. it was definitely worth the wait. I’m full, satisfied and happy. I also got breadsticks, they were tasty, but I’m in carb overload.

Yummy gluten free calzone (half the size of a football!) Great sauce (and I’m not a sauce person). We brought some dough home with us! Everything is offered in gluten free. There are only a few tables, but lots of character.

The best gluten free pizza I've had! They make their own dough (yay!) offering two different size gf pizzas and a gf calzone. The crust has a great doughy texture that I've missed so much since having to go gf. Highly recommend!

We ordered takeout having never been before but reading a review on this app. Drove 45 minutes and did not disappoint! Does not look like much from the outside and parking is tricky but the food was delicious! I ordered GF breadsticks and GF pizza and I had to have my boyfriend try the pizza to make sure it was indeed GF! I wish we didn’t live so far away. And for those non GF people, he got the regular BBQ chicken calzone and said it was incredible!

I won’t lie, when I saw the outside of this restaurant I never would have thought it would have the absolute, BEST calzone ever! The dough was incredible, the ingredients were so fresh and tasty, and best of all I didn’t get sick! My boyfriend got a regular non-gluten free pizza and he said it was outstanding, so were both happy campers!

The staff was great and knowledgeable. I felt very safe eating here. I had the GF calzone and my husband had the regular one. He actually liked the GF dough better. Food was excellent. The restaurant is small but friendly and has a lot of character.

This place was great for celiacs. The lady working there took her time to explain to us the options and process to avoid contamination. I had a gf calzone (first one I’ve had in years), gf breadsticks and gf pizza. Probably one of the best gf meals I’ve had in a long time. I highly recommend.
Yes
Ordered the pizza, calzone, and chocolate cake. The pizza was by far the best gf pizza I’ve had. I didn’t get sick either which is amazing!
Yes
The precautions they take are unbelievable! GF calzone was soooo good! Cheesy bread was great! I will be returning for sure! Very small, more of a takeout place but if you sit and dine like we did, they are more than willing to help you!
My family camps our near here but I would drive the hour & a half to come here anyways ! By far the best gluten free pizza you can have ! The only problem is deciding between pizza, bread sticks, calzone or a belly ache from them all ! So so so good
Their gf breadsticks with cheese were basically cheesy bread and were amazing! The calzone was delicious as well. Highly recommend this place. I ate here twice with no issues.

When one has to ask “Are you sure this is gluten free?” You know it’s good. No reactions. True celiac here!

I had high hopes for this place seeing that the Gluten Free Connecticut page raved about it. Drove an hour and half to get there. Customers before us left upset because they waited an hour... so we were already worried about our food. Then our meals took even longer and it was not gluten free like I had asked. I have a severe gluten allergy and one the reasons it was so appealing to eat there was their gluten free dough. They almost served me a regular calzone and luckily I always ask what I’m being served before I eat it, but then it took another 20 minutes for them to remake my food. The staff was very apologetic and were able to give me some dough to bring home which was nice, but I wish the situation had not happened in the first place. Seeing other customers leaving upset was not good either.
My teenage son gobbled up the homemade gf pizza and gf cheese breadsticks. They make all gf items in separate part of kitchen and are very sensitive to cross contamination. Great find!!
Yes
Absolutely looove their HOMEMADE pizza crust! Its great to have a normal tasting/textured pizza. Best crust around. A must try! Where else can you get a calzone?? 99% of all restaurants can't be bothered to satisfy their customers and only order a prefabbed frozen crust- NOT HERE!! Try it to see
I discovered my love of their Gluten Free menu only recently and even though I have to drive a half hour to get there, it's well worth it! I've been there three times this month! I don't have any cross contamination sensitivities when I dine there. You can even choose from a verity of gf desserts. My kids love there traditional recipes. It's a win for the whole family. They have an employee that comes in every morning to prepare a fresh batch of gluten free dough. When you dine on a gf calzone you know they made the dough and it was never frozen.
Yes
I had a gluten free calzone and it was delicious! They were very careful preparing my food so there was no cross contamination.

Ignore what it looks like. The food is excellent. The GF buffalo chicken calzone was unbelievable! Highly recommend.
Gluten Free Pizza and Gluten Free Calzone were awesome!

Excellent gf pizza. My gf family members even enjoyed it.
Delicious GF pizza. Never had a problem.
I used to order from here all the time, but I've gotten gluten the last two times I've eaten here. The last time had to have been more than just cross contamination as it took me 6 weeks to recover. It's a shame as their food is really good, but I most definitely will not be back.
