They have gf injera and most dishes are gf I believe. I am a fairly sensitive celiac and have eaten there twice with no issues. Veggie platter is delicious

Always fresh food and their GF injera is perfect! My gluten-rich friends couldn’t tell the difference.
The food is amazing and there are good gluten free and vegan dishes.

Food was amazing but one word of caution. Our group had 2 GF (celiac) and 2 non-GF. My husband noticed that the injera on all 4 plates looked the same. The server said yes, the GF injera will come on the side...so all 4 orders were served on traditional (wheat) injera, with a bowl of GF injera (noticeably darker) on the side. We explained why 2 of us couldn't eat the dishes as served, and the issue was fixed. The remade plates were delicious and the GF injera is a treat (and this super-sensitive celiac didn't get sick). So please do go here...just be sure to question and get what you need!
The vegetarian sampler was delicious, and it was wonderful to have gluten-free injera.

they have gluten free injerra made before regular bread in the morning I was told on different equipment. I was skeptical but owner described his symptoms when he ingests gluten and sounded like he has celiac. I didn't get sick though I was nervous the whole time. The food was really delicious too! will definitely go back when I'm in Oakland again.
They have gluten free injera, you can tell its gluten free because it's much darker. I asked if they prepared to injera separate from gluten free injera and they said yes they have to or people with celiac could get sick. I asked if anything on the menu had gluten wheat or barley and she said no everything except regular injera and fried sambusa is gluten free.
