One of the owners has celiac and knows just what to do. They all take great care. The pizza is delicious. We eat there all the time and have 3 family members with celiac- one who gets sick by any sign of cross-contaminatoon. I can't recommend enough!

Despite the high safety ratings here on FMGF and two separate calls to Ernie's that gave assurances of being safe for celiacs, I got violently sick after taking out a pie from here. It was an overly busy night for them so maybe they weren't as careful as usual or there was more flour in the air, but I just can't recommend them. It's a shame because the pie was delicious until the reaction hit.

Ernie's is excited to announce that we now serve whole wheat crusts, gluten free pizza, and gluten free beer for those with dietary needs or concerns.
Best gluten free pizza around. Knowledgeable about cross contamination.

This is probably some of the best gluten-free pizza I have had in Connecticut!! The staff switches out utensils when handling gluten-free items and were very knowledgeable about celiac!! Definitely going to come back next time I’m in the area!

If I could give zero I would. Nice people but pizza made me sick, wasn't even good GF pizza. Expensive- $20 for an awful crust, wasn't worth the pain. I barely made it home before I got sick.

Lots of shops use this same GF crust. Ernie's Pizzeria does wonders with it. Their ovens must be spitting hell fire. Awesome taste. Just chatting with staff, they mentioned swapping utensils while handling the GF pizzas. Green's beer is also available.
