Yummy Tex Mex in Texas. Great outdoor seating.

Was told by both Maître d’ and the server multiple times that they had gluten-free and knew how to prepare it. There was attitude towards asking and double checking I was sick before finishing the meal. Apparently flour was served based on my symptoms. When wrote to tell about experience, they were very dismissive and said kitchens can’t be completely clean

This restaurant had a really cool vibe but their gluten free menu was very small. The waiter could answer questions about the food but I didn’t trust that there wouldn’t be any cross contamination so I only had rice and beans (the charro, the refried wasn’t gluten free) and then guacamole with the chips because they were brought in separately. The drinks were really good though. Also I didn’t get sick!

Waiter was extremely unhelpful. To be fair, he tried to be, but clearly didn’t understand and wouldn’t connect me with someone who did (which makes me think no one here really does). Every indication is that this is NOT a safe place for celiacs to eat, so I’m content with my iced tea and I’ll eat later at home.
No
Good food but not 100% certain it was all gluten free. They have a limited gluten free menu. Proceed with caution.
I have to give a star or I would not. I have celiac and was sick for 5 days after eating here. If you have celiac then you know that 5 days of being glutened has you praying for death. Please avoid if you have celiac or you WILL regret it!
Good Mexican food. Fast service and friendly.
