I ate here yesterday for the first time it was very good ! I had the GF eggplant rollatini and the chicken Parm w vodka sauce. So good did not get sick or anything, they have a separate fryer. Waitress was very nice and helpful with my allergy.

Ordered the gluten free chicken parm alla vodka and an order of the gluten free mozzarella sticks. Staff was super kind and my food was all marked GF on their containers. Both were very delicious and I had no reaction which was nice because I was nervous from reading other reviews. I will definitely be ordering again soon.

I’ve eaten here multiple times with no issues. The pizza is great, the salads are huge and wonderful, and the mozzarella sticks and chicken parm with vodka sauce was amazing. Portions are great to share, or have plenty of leftovers

I hate leaving a negative review because their food is so good and they have a GREAT gluten free menu but I can’t trust them.

As a celiac I’ve gotten sick from their takeout twice. I’ve eaten in house twice and haven’t had an issue. But They always young girls working the takeout and I’m not sure if they relay to the kitchen I have an allergy.

Even with takeout the fried items are a SAFE bet because it’s a separate fryer. So great gluten free mozz sticks and CALAMARI! I’ll do either of those items for takeout or a salad but I don’t trust pizza or pasta anymore.

If you’re gluten free by preference eat here!! If you’re celiac proceed with caution

Esposito’s is one of the only Italian restaurants in Matawan that has a huge gluten free menu and everything is absolutely delicious! I usually order the GF chicken parmigiana with pasta and the GF mozzarella sticks. You would never know either are gluten free - they are made to perfection!

They don't make gluten free pizza but they serve a frozen pizza. It doesn't have the same cheese and sauce that their regular pizza normally has. Didn't make me sick but didn't taste good either.

I did not eat here but my family did so I thought I'd ask them about their gf offerings and procedures. They do not have a separate area (which I can understand) but they also do not have a separate fryer even though they offer fried foods from it as gf. The woman I spoke with seemed to say that they did not cater to celiacs but only to the fad dieters. For which I was extremely grateful. 3 Stars for the waitress' honesty minus misrepresenting the fact that they are gf.
