Over the last 20 years, as a Keyport resident, I have spent many pleasant hours at Express Joe's (in fact, when Sunny and Ed ran the place, it was like a second home to me). I stopped by today mid morning and confirmed what I had noticed before, The owner/barista is cold and impersonal, and really seems to me to be in the wrong line of business. As I have tried to explain to me mom, who cannot understand why I would go out for coffee, coffee houses are a social phenomenon. I won't be stopping again but the place was neat and clean and my drink was fine.

Safe place to eat!! Gluten free kitchen. Cozy and nice atmosphere.
I love it! It’s mostly vegan and I got the chickpea “tuna” sandwich with a side of potato salad and that was amazing. The owner has a gluten intolerance so she’s careful. Definitely on my list to go back to

Dedicated gluten free kitchen. They can customize any recipe as they have something for everyone! Fresh juice, coffee and tea, too; as well as live music! Specials daily and their soups are to die for!!!
New dedicated kitchen! And vegan options too! Something for everyone, so excited!
The dude at the counter had no idea what gluten even was... Let alone any options available

Cute little coffee house that offers gluten free hand made in house baked goods, hard to find! Great coffee and atmosphere and beautiful view of bay overlooking the city.
