We ordered food with gf injera and everything cane wrapped in regular injera with the gf injera on the side which was obviously not helpful. When I called the person I spoke with was completely unapologetic. Maybe it’s better in person but I won’t be returning.

The gluten free injera is delicious, and I love the platters. The staff are fairly knowledgeable.

I absolutely love this restaurant! Seriously, any time I'm in Chicago I make it a priority to stop here. Ethiopian food is really unique in the way it is spiced, cooked, and presented to you (you eat it with your hands) but it's soooo good. Make sure to ask for gluten free injera (made of teff instead of teff and wheat), it's almost like a thin pancake but it's perfect for scooping up your main course. The atmosphere here is great as well. They give you a ton of food so I like to go with friends and we'll each order our own main course then just split them all. It's pretty expensive though.

Awesome food. Wait staff was very accommodating
I love this place! Such great food. Let them know you need it GF. I highly recommend it.
You need to ask for the GF injera/black injera. It is not on the menu. It's made of teff flour, instead of their usual half teff flour and half wheat flour. All their vegetarian dishes are also dairy free.
