This is a small, family owned diner like place. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. It turns out that one of the owners’ family members has celiac disease and they were so excited to tell me about how they carry gluten free bread, and how they would take all kinds of precautions on my behalf. Everyone is friendly and the space is very welcoming. We enjoyed coming here in the past, prior to my diagnosis- and it’s great to know that I/we can keep coming back. Food isn’t fancy, but it’s good and reasonably priced for Bar Harbor.
