Review

Went here on a long drive to Pittsburg NH. Picked this out a week in advance based on the reviews and we had pretty good expectations that my celiac daughter would have plenty of options available. I’m sure this place has more options than we were presented with that evening but I can’t say for sure what they are. I will give the weak excuse that they were quite busy that evening, having had a HS soccer team do an online order and coming in to get it as we arrived. But my daughters health is not a game and I cannot tolerate guesses. When we approached the counter my daughter advised the staff she was celiac and asked what her options were. All that was offered was a burrito bowl…I could have gone to chipotle if that’s all she was going to get. She then asked about the chicken…the person making the bowl called over to the team leader and said “the chicken is gluten free…right?” to which the leader replied “as far as I know”. That’s not a useful response. Obviously guesses are not something we’re going to go with, so she got a bean bowl. The food was good and my daughter had no reaction, so that’s a plus. I would strongly encourage the establishment to label their gf offerings both on site and on the website so celiacs can enjoy all you have to offer. A 3 is a bit high for our experience, but I know they have more offerings than was known by the staff that night and I know some of the staff are knowledgeable, but for now the experience is not consistent.
