Found the manager and staff to be incredibly knowledgeable about gluten-free foods although I had to explain how the tater tots might be gluten free but if they're fried in the same fryer, then it's not. That's when I found out the hash browns are truly gluten free. I got a steak and hash browns without eggs since I'm egg-free. Portion sizes are big so plan for a big meal! If I end up reacting, I'll come back and update my review.

The food is wonderful, gf bun is one of the best I've had, in oat with the red Robin GF bun. The fries though, are battered and thus not GF, I didn't find this out until our order arrived. The staff was nice enough to substitute for the sweet potato fries, which they said are not battered, but they look it. If I wind up having a reaction I'll update.

The food was delicious and the server was very knowledgeable about gluten-free options. They had gluten-free bread, so I was very excited to get a gluten-free grilled ham and cheese. It was awesome! Most of the salad dressings were gluten-free also and their salad was very fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend. Family owned business, always good to support the locals.

We stopped in here while visiting Lyden. When we got our food we all talked about how delicious it looked and tasted. As my mother was eating her Salad a bug crawled out of it. A BIG bug. We called the server and she took the salad back. The rest of us lost our appetite and couldn't finish our food. Our server came back and said it was on the house. I felt horrible for the server because it wasn't her fault, she was young and you could tell uncomfortable. We never saw a manager or anyone in charge of the cafe. A manager should of been the one to handle this not the younger server. We will not be back!

I've eaten here many times. Usually have the Chef's Salad for lunch. The large is big enough to share. Half order is enough for most diners. Generous amounts of ham, turkey and cheese.
