Famous Hamburger, Canton

The first time I was there, they were amazing. The kitchen staff came out to the table to tell me how he carefully prepared my food so it was all safe. It was so good. I was so very impressed! The second time, which was only a week later, was a very different experience! I heard the waitress tell the kitchen staff that she sd no pita chips on my fattoush salad. She had to tell him twice. Almost immediately she brought my salad. I asked her if he had just removed the pita chips, she said he had. I told her I didn't want it. Mind you I said I had a gluten allergy when ordering. She should have insisted he make a new one. I no longer trusted that my chicken sandwich was going to be prepared safely, so I told her I didn't want that either. She insisted the sandwich was fine, I said "How do you know?" She said "because I do" Uhmmmmm.....NO! I refused the sandwich a couple more times to her, because she kept telling me it was fine! It was ready, so they wanted me to take it. Uhmmmmmm.....NO!!!!! I went outside, while the rest of my family ate their dinner. The food was ready and my kids needed to eat. I will never go back there again! It's a gamble on whether or not you're going to get safe food. If you bring me something obviously contaminated. I am not willing to take the chance of being sick by trying anything else!!!!!

The hamburgers were amazing. Any of the hamburgers on the menu can have the bun replaced with a gluten-free one. I did tell the staff the severity of my celiac disease and they kindly accommodated.
