Fancy's on Fifth

So disappointed. Before coming in March we call and confirmed gf burgers and a dedicated fryer. Got to restaurant and again confirmed. Food was fabulous. Fast forward to Friday - asked the same questions and was told a drastically different answer - fryer is NOT dedicated gf - all dryers are connected. What???!! And no option to make fries or Brussels gf. Only side that couple be gf was a side salad. Major disappointment - we left.

My wife and I ate here with my family, and we were very impressed with the staffs knowledge of GF items. I had the Cheech and Chong Burger on the GF bun. I ordered it without the the jalapeño fun-ions but our server came back to let me know they were GF. Fries have a dedicated fryer. No GF desserts except ice cram and hot fudge...but it’s great!!

Very delicious restaurant! They specialize in oysters and burgers- and offer GF buns (which were very tasty). Server was knowledgeable and able to tell me that the fries were unfortunately in a shared fryer, but the street corn was probably tastier anyways!
