The employee immediately asked if there were any food allergies, which was good. I ordered a gluten free burger but it was dry and small. Not the same as in the advertising pictures. The atmosphere in the restaurant was good. The food came quickly.

Really good experience. It was initially quite difficult to see what the options where but the server explained they had a separate frier and buns with a really strong selection

First tried Fat Hippo in Newcastle. I was over the moon to find one within the North West in Liverpool! Gluten free burgers with an actual gluten free bun. The waiter/waitress will ask who is coeliac and taken your order and explain what you can/cannot have. A great burger treat that’s cheaper than a five guys where you actually get a bun to. I also had dirty cut chips. Sadly no gluten free beer but they do have old mout cider bottles.
