Fazoli's

I was SOO disappointed. I used to live here & haven’t been back in almost 20 years. This was one of my favorite places to eat. I got excited because I saw that they have gluten free/friendly pasta. The menu says that you can sub any pasta dish with their gf rotini. However the chef says that I should trust any of the sauces… wtf That is like false advertising. What’s the point?? We were with a big group & everyone came here for me & already ordered. I asked if they had Parmesan & she says yes. So I got that, thought the noodles would be buttered. They were busy & it was lunch time, not complaining about that. Plates started arriving and mine came with save on it. Sent it back. Another came out a few minutes later. It was hot but no parm & no butter. It was so dry, looked the rubbery plastic. I ate a few bites but it was just so blah… The others in the group had already asked 3 times for the free breadsticks, so I wasn’t gonna waste my time or breath… They have great deals here & everyone else enjoyed their meals. I did appreciate the honesty of the chef about the sauces.

They’re friendly and willing to substitute the pasta in nearly any dish with their gluten free rotini. Unfortunately that is their only GF option but I enjoy it and get it every time.

I had the dedicated GF pasta item on their menu without the chicken, and I was surprised that I did so well with it. The rest of my family loves Fazoli’s.

Wonderful lady at the drive thru took great care in making my gluten free rotini. They only have 1 option (Gluten free Roasted Chicken and pesto) but you can add options to it just like the other meals. Thank you miss Brittany.

They have a gluten free Chicken Pesto Rotini that is really good. You can change out the pasta for any dish, although I haven’t tried that yet. I get there right when it opens so I lessen the chance of cross contamination.
