The staff did not seem particularly aware of the severity of Celiac Disease, and brushed aside my concerns as if I were asking about gluten free options as a 'gluten free tender.' They labeled their deep fried dishes (yam fries, fries, and etc) as being GF, but they told me that they did not have a dedicated GF fryer. I had a falafel burger on lettuce, although a gf bun is available at extra charge, and then was asked if I would like fries or a salad after I had just turned down anything fried in the flour-contaminated oil. I had to specify that the salad come without croutons and with simple balsamic vinegar and oil dressing after she listed off a possible salad dressing that contains gluten.. Staff across campus are poorly educated when it comes to gluten allergies. I would not trust anything labeled gluten free.
