Almost everything on the menu can be made gluten free. The food in this plant based diner is DELICIOUS. Both my wife and I are long time vegetarians and the food at Ferns is as good as we have had anywhere.

What a fun find! Everything is vegan and almost everything is GF. Cute atmosphere if you eat in the diner, nice biergraden area for warm days, and you can do take out orders.
Don’t forget to order a moonpie (!!).

From the owner
Although we cannot guarantee no cross contamination, we do change our gloves & use a separate knife. Our fryer is completely GF. We have GF substitutes for almost every item. We have GF desserts. We also have GF beers, ciders & seltzers.

As with most vegan restaurants, this place is very allergy conscious. They use gluten-free breads from a local bakery, which also happen to be vegan and some of the best breads I’ve ever had. They use the breadcrumbs for their tots and cheese curds, so you can feel safe ordering those. Amazing atmosphere and incredible staff as well!
