Always a little scary going to a chain, but the staff was knowledgable and asked if it was an allergy. I was worried about choosing a sandwich that had condiments, but the staff said they legally have to open new containers of everything to make a sandwich for a customer with an allergy. Didn’t order a toasted sub, since I wasn’t sure how that would be handled. Didn’t get sick.
4/‘22 - We have gotten takeout here for several years and generally are satisfied. Occasionally they run out of GF buns, which is irritating but understandable. We have noticed their Schar GF buns are superior to the grocery store product?!! Wife is Celiac, husband is not, and we have never experienced contamination or mixups. For freshness & taste we get untoasted sandwiches & use our toaster oven at home. Boxed sandwiches are not identified, but the Schar buns are easily identified.
They took precautions while making my sandwich on gf bread. Due to the nature of the establishment there is still a high risk of contamination.
