Wonderful experience!!! From the food almost all being available GF!! To the service and aesthetics! Nothing could be better! The gf fried Mac n Cheese was amazing and their fries were some of the best I’ve had!! My very sensitive and symptomatic kiddo had no problem!! So nice to be able to go somewhere and be put completely at ease from the moment you walk in!
The original chicken sandwich is so good, love the slaw and it's so big it hangs over the edge by a lot! So crispy and juicy! The mac and cheese is good but very rich. Not the greatest service but they were super busy.
Yes!!! They have GF fried Mac and cheese bites!!! They understand GF food! Delicious and we will be back.

One of our owners is diagnosed with celiac and has lived the GF life. If you or a loved one has celiac or other food based disease or illness, you know dining out with friends and families or trying to catch the big game quickly becomes more challenging than inspiring. We opened First Round in 2023 with the mission to deliver exceptional food in a fun, relaxed atmosphere, where every sports fan can enjoy full access to a diverse, scratch kitchen GF menu! In addition to the GF menu, First Round offers vegan and vegetarian items as well as a house made non-dairy cheese for customers looking for for lactose free foods! From the quinoa power bowls to our house made cashew cheese, no other sports bar focuses on healthy food options like First Round! Come see for yourself!

Solid pub food. Good variety of GF options (most of menu is actually GF) and having a dedicated GF fryer is always a plus. Waitress knew exactly what to recommend and clearly marked order for kitchen to avoid cross contamination.
This was amazing! The food is delicious and everything has a gluten free option. They have a dedicated fryer. My toddler is celiac, but I am not, so this was amazing for an easy dining experience.
Amazing and everything has the option to be gluten free!! I had the Fried Mac M Cheese bites as a starter and a Fried chicken snack wrap with a side of Mac N cheese! Loved the service and I loved being able to feel normal eating out!
Very excited to find a place which has GF fried foods. The Fried Mushrooms were fantastic.
The waitress asked if anyone was GF, DF or Vegan when she gave us the menus. Huge menu, great variety, several dedicated fryers. Food is breaded with potato starch so no flour in the kitchen. The servings were very generous and priced very reasonably. We will definitely go back!
It was so nice to have lunch with my son (celiac) and he had such a huge selection of food to choose from. Everything we ordered tasted great.

This is the best gluten free food I've ever had.
Seriously. This restaurant has the trappings of a 90s nostalgia bar, but it's housing the best gluten free fried food ever. You've got to try it.
They ONLY use GF breading, so if you want anything it can be made safe. Make sure to ask for a gluten free bun, and to specify if you want it gluten free, but I trust them 100% even with the shared kitchen.
I had the classic chicken sandwich with hot honey sauce, street corn as my side. Both were SO GOOD. The gluten free bun was probably the best I've ever had, I had to double check it was GF. Didn't fall apart and tasted delicious!
We also had delicious Mac and cheese bites, they had a spicy dipping sauce that was the perfect compliment.
Overall for 2 people we spent $50 with tip and left full of yummy food.
I didn't see GF beers on the menu, but I don't really trust them anyway.
We walked in and the wait staff immediately asked, do we have anyone gluten free? Wow, did I feel seen and safe. So many options - it took me 30 minutes to pick. I had the Buffalo Chicken Sriracha Mac bowl. Crispy and flavorful chicken - yum! All the flavors and textures melded together and tasted were wonderful. Loved it! Will definitely be back.
Delicious Bar food! Best gluten free chicken strips, fries,and mac and cheese bites are out of this world! Also great salads and many other options!
I’ve been there two times and thoroughly enjoyed the chicken sandwich with hot honey! The breading was delicious! Once I had a side of Mac and cheese and the other time street corn. I liked the street corn more (because the Mac and cheese didn’t have much coating or flavor). Will definitely return!
I have celiacs and this place was absolutely amazing! Soo many great options to eat and they have a dedicated fryer! Staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! Can’t wait to go back!
Visiting Omaha this past weekend and I needed to find a restaurant to eat gluten free as I have Celiac Disease. I had the Mac N cheese Burger with a salad and it was good. The waiter was knowledgeable about Celiac and knew what to do to make it safe. I didn’t get sick a couple days later. Great place to eat that is safe for individuals that have Celiac.
Our waitress asked us right away if we were gluten free and explained how everything worked. The food was very good- but the service was great! She made me feel very comfortable. We will be back!
Staff is super educated on celiac and gluten free, dedicated fryers and understand cross contamination can also be airborne in work stations. Food was immaculate and parallel parking people watching was chefs kiss.

I’ve now been here two times and I’ve been generally pleased both times! Almost every single item can be made GF, most items can be made vegan as well! So many GF options it’s hard to choose! My favorite is the fry basket with chicken and vegan cheese sauce (when it’s available!) I did try the GF turnover and was disappointed as its rice paper with full fruit slices as opposed to a GF flour and puree situation.. but some may enjoy it more than I did! Overall you won’t find more options, better safety and available hours than you will here!
Their hours posted are NOT correct. After a long day of driving we stopped in and they stopped serving food at 9:30pm. Unfortunately, by time we found out and got back to our vehicle most all other places were closed. What a disappointment!

I want to acknowledge that this place has excellent reviews and I don’t want to detract from that. I ate here and must have had a mix up with my husband’s regular Mac and cheese because I have never been so sick afterwards. I would just recommend triple checking with the wait staff when they drop off items. Mistake on my part!
Tons of gluten free options and the staff was very knowledgable and confident in their gluten free offerings. The bread that came with my sandwich was the best gluten free bread I’ve ever had - had to check with the waitress to make sure it was GF it was so good lol!
Delicious food with a vast amount of gf options. Got tenders, Mac, and some fries. Turnover sounded good as well.
I had the GF chicken tenders and mac and cheese. The tenders were perfectly cooked. So fun to have a restaurant with a GF fryer. The Mac and cheese was a little smoky tasting. Overall, good experience and I did not get sick.
Staff was extremely knowledgeable and the food… ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

We have been to First Round several times. The staff is always so understanding and ready to answer all questions about safety. The food is always delicious.

Staff were very knowledgeable and asked the chefs if they were unsure. I had the GF fried mushrooms and GF wings with lemon pepper seasoning. All food was delicious! When we dined there it looked like they were serving a limited menu thus nothing was marked GF but our server reassured us anything on the menu could be made GF. Never got sick!
Staff was very knowledgeable and nice. They could make all but 3 things on the menu GF! Menu was well labeled. I did not get sick! Overall amazing experience! And the food tasted amazing!

The wings and Mac bites were delicious. The fries were a bit spicy but so yummy. I appreciated having a safe place to get fried wings for the first time in years.
They were very celiac friendly as practically the entire menu was gluten free. I ordered the chili cheese dog and the chili was cold and flavorless and the hot dog was burnt; the fries were good. Good environment and nice atmosphere but at least on my visit the food was not up to par for the $15 price tag on a hot dog.
They told me they are a flourless restraunt which made me so excited! My favorite was the Mac and cheese bites and can't wait for more. They did say they occasionally get glutinous buns and fry some items in their only fryer that they use for gluten items. I can't confidently say that it's a dedicated gluten free facility.
One of the best gluten free meals I’ve ever had! We got the Mac and cheese bites, chicken parm sandwich and chicken tenders. I would order the Mac and cheese bites and chicken tenders again for sure! It seems like almost everything in the menu can be made gluten free. We tried to order an apple pie turnover and our server told us that they are still working on getting turnovers made gluten free. Our server was awesome and the food was so so good!
Basically the entire menu can be made gluten free. Had the chicken strips and the chicken fried steak Mac and cheese and both were excellent!

When I asked the waiter what I could eat as a celiac, he said “everything”. I was so excited, there were so many options! The fried Mac and cheese bites and chicken tenders were so good. And the uncrustables were gluten free too!! 100% recommend this.
Delicious!! And I could have almost everything on the menu! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The chicken strips are HUGE and very yummy! The 4 of us got the 12 piece to share and had leftovers to bring home. We will definitely be coming here again on our next trip to Omaha!

Excellent gluten free options. Fried chicken sandwich with gluten free bun, excellent. Egg rolls, chicken wings, and more. There is no white flour in the kitchen. All gluten buns are not made in house.

The mac and cheese bites are amazing! All items can be made gluten free and they have two gluten free fryers! While it is not marked on the menu, the staff is very knowledgeable!
