Fish Market Maui

This place is great! My son loved the grilled fish plate, and they will substitute the Mac salad for double rice or green salad. He also got grilled shrimp. He didn’t try the tacos because I wasn’t confident enough that they wouldn’t have cross contamination issues.

Hole in the walk place, but very delicious! I got the shrimp and fish tacos, and I think the shrimp one was better. Only a few tables to eat at - we took our meal back to our hotel pool.

Our experience here has always been excellent, since before Covid. This is our first time back since 2019 and they did a wonderful job as always!

The young man at the counter was super diligent to check with the kitchen on certain items that we ordered to make double sure that they were gluten free.

AND they have GLUTEN FREE CRAB CAKES, which those of you who are seafood lovers will know can be super rare to find gluten free!

On top of all this, their prices are super reasonable for Maui, and Ka’anapali area especially. Good quality food for a good price, and very clear understanding of GF!! Don’t miss it!!

The shrimp and fish taco were good. Just pretty basic they didn’t have sauces or guacamole to go with it that they were confident were gluten-free.

My wife got the gf fish tacos and they were absolutely trash. No seasoning, no flavor whatsoever and charged extra for anything you wanted added (cheese, pico, ANYTHING). Also they don’t answer their phone just like every other restaurant on this island, all I want is some raw cuts so I can make it myself, but they refuse to answer their phone.

The fish tacos were so yummy. I had the corn tortillas which give me a reaction, but that's not gluten related.

Fish tacos are good but after assuming me it was gluten free, it came with a huge thing of macaroni salad that contaminated half of it. Always check your order before taking it to go.

HIGHLY recommend the shrimp taco and the fajita fish taco was awesome too. Best yet, delicious tapioca pudding for dessert (in the case by the register.) For those interested, there’s a fish market on the right side and a quick service counter on the left. You can buy poke here too!

Go for the fajita tacos! The plain ones weren't quite as good. I have celiac, and had no problems! Delicious... Will be dreaming about these until next time.

Staff was super knowledgeable. my brother got a couple gf shrimp tacos (labeled gf on the menu) and I got fresh Poke and rice on the deli side. They have gluten free soy sauce as well.

By far the best fish tacos I have ever had at an amazing price. I added the Baja sauce to the grilled tacos which made it . Will be returning a few more times before we leave. My husband who is not gluten free keeps asking when we can go back to this place for dinner.

Delicious fish tacos! Blackened and grilled or fajita style with peppers, onions and chipotle cream sauce. Highly recommend!!

The fish tacos are gluten free, but if you’re celiac I would recommend avoiding. I got to the end of my fish taco when I noticed a piece of macaroni in it. Seems like there are major cross contamination risks.

Best option here is grilled fish tacos. Not my favorite tacos on the island but solid. Small place with limited seating. GF items indicated on menu.

The fish tacos were fantastic and for those who can have gluten in your party, get the pork burrito. So so good.

Delicious, reasonably priced, and simple fish tacos. Not sure why the ratings are low. No, it's not a 100% gf but that's not their claim. We have always had great fish here and you can get fish to cook at home. Super fresh.

Choice limited to soft tacos (fish,shrimp,Kailua pork, or fajita versions of those). My wife is GI and enjoyed her fish and pork tacos. I liked the fish and shrimp tacos and also really liked the (not GF) fish and chips (my sister-in-law could only eat one of the three large fish pieces). Good value for Maui prices. Could not see kitchen to evaluate risk of cross-contamination.

Menu shows gluten-free items, which consists of a few types of tacos. Shrimp tacos are delicious though and are also free of dairy and egg.
