Had a cheeseburger with fries and got a lettuce bun instead of bread. They wrapped it separately and I didnt get sick!

You have to request an allergy-friendly order: And you get a burger, but instead of a bun, you get it in lettuce. They clean the entire work surface beforehand, and one person prepares the burger to avoid contamination. Only fries (chopped potatoes) are made in the fryer, so it's also safe.

So far, we've always had good experiences.

I've successfully eaten at Five Guys in the past and was hopeful I would have a safe meal. When I ordered, I asked them to follow their allergen protocol and the server seemed confused. Watching them make my food was stressful and I had to ask a few different times for staff to change their gloves after touching bread. I would not recommend eating here.

Are here 3X and had no issues. Be sure to say you have celiac. Not as much lettuce for the wrap compared to USA (just an observation)

Our first night in cologne and I was struggling to find somewhere to cater GF. Found 5 guys which I know their burgers are GF in the UK. The lovely server was really helpful and guided me through the menu. I had a burger bowel. Double patties with cheese and salad with added mushrooms and onions. It hit the spot and I really enjoyed it. Not perfect as a bun would have been better with it but we needed to eat and it hit the spot. Didn’t manage photos as we were too hungry 🤣

Helpful staff, knew about allergens and made sure the area was cleaned and gloves swapped. Manager Made sure I was looked after and said any issues come straight to them.

Standard burger in lettuce wrap and Cajun fries.

Don’t have the mayo, or any grilled mushrooms or onions!
