Review of Five Guys

Review

Generally, Five Guys as a chain seems relatively safe to me, as the buns, certain milkshake ingredients and vinegar appear to be the only sources of gluten in the joint, and those things should be simple enough to avoid, right? That said, I've had mixed results at this location. The first time or two I went here, I ordered fries and a lettuce-wrapped burger and was fine. Most recently though, I ordered the same thing except I added bacon to the burger. Ended up having a pretty strong reaction a couple hours after eating despite having informed the staff to flag my allergy on my order. While I felt like the crew had tried their best to take precautions, something must've happened somewhere along the line. If I go back I'll probably go back to ordering without bacon just in case that had something to do with it
