I visited based on reviews and I was really craving fries. When I got to the counter, I mentioned that I had a gluten allergy and the person helping me didn’t respond like she knew what I meant. Then I asked what precautions they took for food prep and she said the employees change their gloves but that was about it. I could see that each burger was on its own foil but then I watched someone smear mayonnaise on a bun then put the utensil back in the Mayo tub. I asked about the fries, if the fryer was dedicated. She looked at me like I had lost my marbles. I explained cross contamination and she finally said that nothing else is fried in the fryer. So I ordered fries, no burger. But then saw that employees were handling the fries with their (gloved) hands. I flagged someone down and asked if they changed gloves to handle allergy foods. She assured me that the fry person was the only one that touched the fries and they didn’t handle the other food but quickly said she would change her gloves and get my fries. She said food allergies are very important to them and they take it seriously. All that to say, I think it matters who takes your order but I’m not sure I would jump at the chance to eat here again, for a burger at least. Fries were delicious.
