Review of Flashback Retro Arcade + Bar + Grille

We stumbled across this place recently and decided to check it out. Lots of old school video games and a few pinball machines. Interesting cocktail menu with clever names. The menu looked good and had several items listed as gluten free. I went to order some apps that were listed GF such as fries, wings, etc. Before placing the order, I asked if the items were fried in a dedicated fryer. He sighed and said, honestly I’ve been telling them to change this menu for a long time. These are only gluten free because they don’t have gluten ingredients, but they are all fried with breaded items. I’ve been finding more and more servers who are better informed than the owners / chefs. Extra star for the wait staff and old school games, but don’t trust the menu here if you are celiac.
