A delightful evening at a local Italian restaurant. Fantastic salads (beautifully delivered) & gluten-free pizzas! A huge array of classic Italian dishes made ‘regular’ or gluten-free. Excellent service & clean restrooms.

Waitress and staff were knowledgeable. They adapted items to be gluten free. They had gluten free rolls, pasta, pizza and desserts. I had tomato caprese as an appetizer with bread, oil and cheese and a pizza….all of which were delicious as well as the dessert. It’s also BYOB. We will definitely be going back.

Don’t eat breakfast here. Very greasy and unflavored food. The omelet and potatoes were just slopped on a plate. Waitress was terrible. And I am sick. Terrible experience.

We decided to try it here because of the positive reviews. It’s rare that my celiac daughter is able to eat out at a restaurant, especially Italian! She tried a margarita pizza, pasta, and salad. All were very good, and she had no issues whatsoever. She is a very sensitive celiac. The server was very knowledgeable and helped her pick out safe choices. We will definitely be back. It’s so nice to have a place that we feel safe eating out when we are in Kennett!

Stopped here for dinner after visiting Longwood Gardens. They were super nice and accommodating. Said they could do anything gluten free except for the fried items. Had the margarita pizza and side salad. It was excellent. I highly recommend!

Great service, very accommodating, had pizza there (for the first time in years) with no cheese. In addition to being a very sensitive Celiac I am also Lactose intolerant. I had no issues whatsoever! Yay!!!!!

I had a great experience here and they had lots of GF options (pizza, pasta, burgers, etc.) The server asked if it was an allergy or sensitivity and warned that the chips that came on the side were cooked in a non-dedicated fryer. I got as caprese panini on a gluten free roll and it was delicious!

When you take a moment to ask questions you hear the personal reasons why this restaurant made gluten free pizzas and pastas a priority in this delicious resturant over 10 years ago! I am visiting from out of town and I had such a fantastic pizza, I came back for another one the very next day!

Went there last New Years Eve. The waitress knew a little about gluten free. My meal was very good with no side affects.
Amazing food!! I am extremely partial to their GF pizza but have also enjoyed their pasta. The food is delicious every single time, but is a little pricey. (They use products from Sweet Christine's, a local GF bakery.) This is one of my favorite places to go since it's super close to home and I am able to feel very safe every time I eat there!! --edit--I ordered takeout awhile back and was given a roll (wrapped separately) with my meal. I was smart enough not to eat it (although they do offer GF rolls), this was not one of them. It was most likely a small miscommunication between the kitchen and the person wrapping up the meal. I have never gotten sick here and still enjoy their GF food. Just make sure to check your bag and clarify if your roll is GF before you leave! Better safe than sorry!

We had a long discussion with the staff prior to ordering take out. Once we got home j ate dinner and immediately got sick....we checked the buns from the sandwiches and two different ones were used, one gluten free and one not; careless!
Be cautious! I now have a few days of recovery.....thanks bistro!

Ok so I'm typing this as I'm eating so here we go.
We started with grilled calamari. It was like eating a hose with balsamic vinegar.
I got the special it's lemon chicken with artichokes and shrimp in a white wine sauce with gf pasta. It comes with a salad/soup. I went with the salad with the house dressing. Apparently their Caesar isn't gluten free. WARNING: if you don't like olives, do NOT get it. It's literally straight up ground olives and evoo. Ok pasta time. The pasta was over done. The chicken has been boiled not sautéed as have the artichokes. This making it watery and bland. Supposedly there's white wine in it. Where I don't know.
We also
got the gf white pizza with portobellos, artichoke and percuitto. It's paper thin and crunchy. It's more of a tortilla than pizza dough but it's tasty. I would do a white pizza again. The artichoke pieces on the pizza were GIANT. But overall it was good.
BOTTOM LINE: its expensive and kind of lack luster. Pizza is ok. Pasta wasn't awful. I would stick to something easy like an Alfredo so as not to confuse the kitchen.
Great gluten free and regular selections for those dining with you that are not gluten free. A bit in the pricy side or we would dine here more often. Remember to take your bottle of wine.
amazingly great GF food. had shrimp scampi on GF noodles... was fantastic! today had GF pizza...crust too thin for me but it tasted great! a little, no a lot, expensive though...
