Best cinnamon rolls I've ever had, regardless of gluten-free-ness.

Got sick the same day I ate here. Can’t say it was from here, but can’t rule it out either. Perhaps the oat flour used wasn’t agreeable for my GI.

Delicious pastries. I am gluten free and dairy free and my husband is vegan. Perfect mix!! The service was ok. One of the ladies was super nice. The gentlemen working there must of been having a bad day because we just seemed extremely upset. I would definitely come back though. The cinnamon roll was fantastic!

I made the mistake of asking if they had quiche. The woman behind the counter got really abrasive and told me they were vegan, gluten free and dairy free. I’m celiac so great! She was so mad I had the audacity to ask if they had quiche that I could hear her talking to her coworker about me. It made the situation awkward. After I had the potato scramble which was not very good, I was still hungry. I decided to order another item and she kept me standing at the counter for 10 minutes. She was walking past putting away plates and looking for anything to do. It was ridiculous. I’m part of your target market and bring others with when I eat out. I’ll never go to this ridiculously mediocre place again nor will I recommend it. If you can’t be courteous to people you shouldn’t be in a customer service based industry.

Visited from Idaho this weekend and friend brought me to Flying Apron. I am gluten, dairy, egg and almond free and eating out is hard for me. As soon as I walked in I was immediately overwhelmed with SO MANY delicious looking options! I loved the "Certified Gluten Free" sign in the window. I loved that each item had a label card with all ingredients listed. This made my choices so much easier since some of the items were made with almond milk. I got a beautiful piece of pecan pie and a ginger molasses cookie. I can't even express how amazing it tasted. I was so impressed, I came in this morning for another treat as well as getting some to go treats to bring home. They survived the airplane trip and were enjoyed! If you are vegan, gluten free or just wanting a delicious baked good or coffee, GO HERE!

It felt like I died and went to heaven when I had the warm vegan gluten-free cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting! Just because you have to live without doesn’t mean that you have to sacrifice taste. Thanks for the soul food!

It’s so good! Dedicated GF and vegan facility. The Mac and “cheez” wasn’t particularly impressive, but their baked goods are incredible! Lots of options (cookies, cakes, cupcakes, coffee cake, cinnamon rolls, pie, etc.).

My go to place in Ballard and the first GF bakery is ever visited. So many sweet baked options, it’s hard to choose! Go early for a better savory selection.

The facility was dedicated gluten free and vegan. They posted the ingredients for each item on the tag which was great. They had a coffee cake, donuts, cake, muffins, cookies, cupcakes, Mac &Cheese, pizza and a full coffee bar.

Dedicated gluten-free and celiac safe. I was disappointed, as I took a Lyft for 40 minutes in traffic to get here and was hoping for a meal, but all of their savory items contained garlic, onions, or both. As I cannot eat those things, I instead grabbed a few pastries to go. The next morning, I discovered that they had a slight flavor of onion on them. Probably because they had onion in at least half of the items in the shop. The blueberry scone was very good on the inside, but the cinnamon roll seemed to be a little more permeated by the flavor of onion. Very strange. I will say this, though, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, as well as apologetic when they could not accommodate my dietary needs. if I lived in the area, I’d shop here for pastries for the celiac safe factor, but I probably won’t Lyft across town at rush hour again.

Visiting from Orlando, Florida, and my girlfriend has Celiac disease, so this was a must stop on our visit. It was absolutely awesome. Everything was delicious with extremely friendly staff and a great location. Even if you are not gluten free, I would still highly recommend it. If you do have Celiac disease, then this is truly a must!

They have great baked goods and hot plates. It's surprising how good they can make gluten-free and vegan food.

The frosting on some of the baked goods is subpar but expected from vegan foods.

Absolute heaven. My friend had her first cinnamon roll ever!! She's gluten and dairy allergic, so with the whole store being gf & vegan she was on cloud 9. We bought a whole box to take home and put in the freezer since there is nothing like this in Spokane.

This place was amazing! I don't know how to be enthusiastic enough about that. Go here. Eat all the food. I tried a donut, muffin, coffee cake, cookie and bread and loved every single thing. I consider myself a gf food snob and my standards are pretty high. I could hardly believe this stuff was gluten-free, let alone vegan. So nice to be able to eat at a place and not worry about getting sick.

Celiac Safe... all Vegan and Gluten free.

That's the good stuff. Beyond that. Their pastries were overly cake textures, dry, and way too sweet. I would say avoid this place. We can't be picky as GF ... but I do hope they work on their recipes a bit more.

Pretty good gf desserts. It's hit or miss. The brownies are great. Some of the cakes and cookies can be crumbly but still taste good. I never noticed a weird after taste like another reviewer mentioned. A hippy vibe. Not nut allergy safe.

Heaven! I can eat yummy things here. Got a blueberry scone & macaroon with a coconut milk latte - just bc I could!

GF certified and EVERYTHING is labeled with the ingredients. So, I could be comfortable with my choices. That is no easy task bc I am not only GF but also dairy, egg, yeast, chocolate, nuts, mushroom & seafood sensitive. Very used to finding nothing that works for me. So ... Heaven bc I can know without causing a scene that I can eat safely. 😊😊😊
