They do not have specifically a gluten free menu, just the traditional don't eat the bread or anything that goes in the deep fryer. Pretty much the same situation that Celiac's have always dealt with. The food is average, standard breakfast fare and nothing over the top. Although the service was very friendly, being knowledgeable of gluten and cross contamination was not part of her skill set. I placed my order sans biscuit and explained the importance due to celiac disease. My breakfast was served with a huge biscuit in the middle. When I said I was sorry but could not accept it, their solution was to take the biscuit off leaving behind a fair amount of crumbs and a good deal of cross contamination. In addition to this the entire place was in need of a good cleaning. Pictures on the walls and all around the door jams and ceiling fans there was a layer of grease and dust growing and falling.

Long wait but well worth it. A great gluten free breakfast selection. Will definitely be back when we come to Atlanta again.

I was worried when I went after reading some of the reviews from other locations. Here's my take:Not Celiac friendly. There is too much stuff in the air that's not controllable by the kitchen. Make sure you ask about everything. Take nothing for granted. So being paranoid helped me enjoy myself immensely. I had the vegan scramble thing. So good.
I ordered the spinach avocado omelet with a side of bacon and grits with no biscuit and our server, Mariah R was amazing. She was aware of my allergy and made sure it was noted and told the cook in the back and gloves were changed. I had no sort of reaction or sickness and usually immediately if I have any sort of contamination I get sick AND that did NOT happen. We will definitely go back. The menu showed the gluten free items and they were aware of the GF allergy and made sure we were taken care of! Mariah was amazing !!

I had a wonderful experience here. The waitress was very knowledgeable about Gluten free options. GF items were marked on the menu. They had a GF bread option as well to replace the biscuit for your order. I had the Piedmont Omelette with grits and GF Toast along with a Mimosa flight. The juices that they use for the flight are GF as well.

The most delicious grits! Server was knowledgeable and helpful. They were slammed and she still took the time to dip apple butter from a new jar for me. Each order comes with a complimentary biscuit and unfortunately I got toasted Udis sandwich bread. It was safe and toasted separately from everything else.

Flying Biscuit is a good place to eat. This was my first time eating at this location, and the menu is different (and didn’t seem to have as many GF options as I am used to having). However, I enjoyed my eggs, sausage, and grits. Their grits are always so good - don’t miss them.
