Fonuts are finally completely gluten free! They updated their recipe to only make gluten free donuts, so now the facility is safe for Celiacs to enjoy their donuts safely. The flavors are all delicious. Only bummer is that they're a little expensive, but worth an occasional treat!
They were so friendly and the donuts were beautiful. 100% GF so no cross-contamination risk. Felt fine afterwards. No trouble parking nearby. I got a dozen of the adorable minis to share with the family I was visiting. I don’t think they’re comparable to a regular donut, but were enjoyable as a small cake-like treat.
My highly sensitive Celiac teen requested LA and specifically Fonuts for her 16th birthday treat. The first donut she’s has since diagnosis! All flavors were delicious. She especially liked strawberry shortcake. Staff was courteous and helpful. Thank you!
The woman that helped us was super friendly and cheerful. They had so many different flavors of gluten free and vegan. The churro gluten free/vegan donut was easily my favorite. I have celiac and am very sensitive. I had no adverse reaction to eating at Fonuts. Their Mocha was also tasty.
this place is amazing they keep all their gluten food separate and it taste amazing they have such a wide variety of flavors like chocolate with sprinkles vanilla with sprinkles raspberry coconut chocolate and so many other great flavors five stars for fonuts!!!
I used to eat here frequently, before my Celiac diagnosis, and the Fonuts were wonderful. After my diagnosis, I tried one of the GF Fonuts and got terribly sick. At this point, I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone with Celiac, but I would be willing to try this place again if they improve the cross-contamination situation.
They have a different selection than Babycakes but they are just as tasty. Some of the doughnuts are vegan, some are vegan and GF. If you have friends that refuse to touch either, they have regular baked doughnuts in yummy flavors like blueberry earl grey and Maple bacon. My personal favorites are the lemon and the chocolate-hazelnut (the later being only vegan, not GF).
