Our experiance 08-04-2022 overall the food was by far less then ok. The goat rougen josh was full of sharp little pieces of bones the tikka checken masarla tasted like it was burnt they did offer to take thay off the bill which was very nice if them to do so. The butter chicken was pretty good I liked it. The unfortunate issue for me is the person to person experiance this was not at all good. When we left I forgot my purse this is obviously on me the next morning I called was told purse was put away in the hostes cabinet I was happy to here it was still there. When I arrivered I waited a while for anyone to acknowledge me the hosttes finally came over I told her why I was there and she said oh yes we have your purse she opened the drawr and handed it to me. I had said to her hold on my insention was to give her $20.00 because well they had my purse and felt it would be a kind and a correct thing to do. When I opened my wallet any large bills that I had were gone I stated money was missing for my wallet her answer was no one went into your purse. I looked a 2nd time just to be sure pulled ouy my wallet and a brand new phone out of my purse well that was odd odd because I had my phone in my pocket and showed it to her I asked her who's phone was this she said it was the managers so clearly he had been in my purse. The owner came out and said that he would take care of the missing money and then told me I just had to wait a few mins then it just another 10 min. After 20 about mins I called the sheriff & filed a police report. I gave the officer the the brand new phone that was left in my purse the owner said the needed that phone back the officer gave them the oppertunity to resolve the issue or the phone would simply be processed into evidence. The owner says I need the sim card out if that pone then the officer explaind the sim card stays with the phone so either return the missing money or get the person that owns the phone to return the money or the it leaves with him. Moral to this story is the only person out anything is me, but the person that took the money certianly can spend anyway they wish but my money is that easy some of money just got to spent on another Iphone so ya no money ahead there buddy. Karma tends to serve you what you deserve...and now that replacemt phone will be more then what was taken... and well I can live with that. So Mr. Manger at Foodstaan in Irving Texas do enjoy that new phone if you want the phone you left in my purse please contact the Irving TX ploice deptment they have your phone. Singed the person that will never be back to this restaurant or the Foodstaan chain not Ever...

I like the ambiance and the food is so nyc I like goat biryani and the appetizers are too good

Great Indian food, waiter was able to discuss ingredients in each dish and adapted to my multiple allergies.
